Referential logos: Victorian or Art Deco styles

Part One
You will start by creating a process book. Keep sketches, thoughts, evidence of process in your process book. The first part in your process book is developed after performing an analysis of your target company. In particular, address the main service/product, the primary audience with its demogeographic information, the competitors’ identity designs, and your message. Print a copy for class discussion.
Part Two
Design the four styles of logo for the company. Each design should come with the following components:
1. Research: 20 to 30 visual logo examples for the particular style in your process book
2. Concept: 15 to 20 Thumnail sketches of your design concept in your process book
3. Design: with in-class critique, digitize your design in Illustrator; 11×17 in or 17×11 in
Part Three
A. Compile all four into one poster design; each part stays as 11×17 in or 17×11 in in dimension. You final work must provide the following information:
– your name
– the company’s name
– a summery from your analysis
B. Complete and digitalize your process book as a pdf file.
Requirements
– Establish a cohesive visual system for purpose of visual communication
– Demonstrate your ability to be consistent yet creative
– Craft and precision are expected to be of the highest quality
– The final poster must be profesionally printed and mounted.
Rubric
Please note that the total grade of this assignment is 150 (100 for process and 50 for design). Each part of the four designs weighs 25 process and 10 design, and the final poster is 10 points in design, the process book is 50 points
